The decisions were taken during the 82nd meeting of the Academic Council, chaired by Vice Chancellor Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal, where crucial curriculum revisions and developmental initiatives were also approved.

During his visit to the Khairpur College of Agriculture and Management Sciences (KCA&MS) Khairpur, he emphasized the institution’s commitment to advancing studies in date palms, agricultural crops, fruits, vegetables, by-products, marketing, information technology, and management sciences.
The Provincial Minister for Women Development, Shaheena Sher Ali, underscored the critical role of rural women in Sindh’s agricultural sector, calling them the true "working women" deserving equal recognition and support as professionals in other fields. Addressing the inaugural session of the two-day International Conference on "Agricultural Development and Women Empowerment: Challenges and Way Forward," hosted by Sindh Agriculture University (SAU), Tando Jam, she announced the establishment of 115 daycare centers across Sindh to support working mothers engaged in agricultural labor.

This critical issue was addressed during a one-day seminar on "Onion Breeding and Technology," hosted by the Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics at Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) Tandojam in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad on Monday.
